Colivings
I’ve been in two coliving places so far, one in Ponta Do Sol (Madeira, Portugal) and in Lisbon (also Portugal, but mainland).
A coliving place is basically just a home that you share with other people. But not only that. They also offer a coworking space. That’s nice as a digital nomad.
But what’s best about a coliving is that you’re living with other people who are usually also digital nomads. There’s a sense of community. And you make friends instantly when you arrive.
And that is a big plus when you just arrived in a new city and you don’t know anyone yet.
Some people will only stay for a couple of weeks, other for several months.
It is a bit like living with your family, except that they’re your friends.
And usually, the places are amazing, so that’s a plus too.
From my experience, living in a coliving is very nice. You have new friends as soon as you arrive, you hang out with each other, you can cook together, have communal lunch and dinner, you can go for dinner and drinks outside and even party together.
You also help each other with work, and you can also do some group work out to motivate each other (although I rarely need motivation to do some exercise, so I was the motivator!).
But you also have your privacy in your room and you can just stay alone when needed, no one will blame as everybody knows that we all need some “me” time.
All-in-all, I would definitely recommend staying in a coliving for your next trip!

Travel Gear
Travelling as a digital nomad requires to have the right gear! Between laptop accessories to travel bags, good gear can make the difference between an agreable voyage and a hellish one.
Here are some of the best equipment recommended by me and the community.
